Take Part

In ELSA-1 we will be carrying out phone and online interviews with parents and their children aged 3-13 across the West Midlands. We will also invite the parents to join in online co-production workshops.

Overview

If you are a parent /carer and would like to take part in ELSA-1 you need to view the parents information below before you can consent to take part. If you would also like your child to take part, which is optional, we encourage you to show your child the children’s information in Step 2.

Parents’ Information

This information tool will tell you what the ELSA study involves, provide a background to type 1 diabetes, and explain why the ELSA study is important. This tool will help you to decide if would like to take part and how to do this. This tool provides a digital version of the Patient Information Sheet.
